Goals

Design, develop, and launch a website for the SSDH in one month. Create a multi-lingual site accessible to a diverse, global audience. Build the global centre for resources on sustainability-linked sovereign debt.

Sustainability-linked Sovereign Debt Hub

The Sustainability-linked Sovereign Debt Hub (SSDH) is an international initiative reshaping sovereign debt markets to deliver a sustainability dividend. It connects stakeholders and supports the creation of standards and tools that incorporate nature and climate considerations into the sovereign bond ecosystem. Its advisory board includes the World Bank and the Institute of International Finance (IIF).

Approach

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

We made sure that the website followed SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) best practices to ensure it can be crawled and indexed by search engines (e.g. Google or Bing). We aimed to design it in a way that takes into account the relevant ranking criteria of search engines to support search engine positioning.

Fast-tracked delivery

To support the delivery of work on a shorter timeline, we fast-tracked and worked on different areas simultaneously.

Mobile responsiveness

The website was created to be responsive. Its contents scale to fit the screen size. This ensures they look good and work well on all devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Scalability

We created the website using 'building blocks' that make it easy to modify, restructure, and expand. This way, the website can scale alongside the company's growth.

Onboarding & Site Handover

Following the website launch, we onboarded the team members and equipped them with the ability to modify the site. This included adding articles and publications, editing text, or making other minor modifications.

What we achieved together

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The website launched before the SSDH's 7th September deadline. Adopter continues to expand the site as the initiative grows.

  • Digital carbon footprint: 0.18g per homepage view (cleaner than 83% of web pages).
  • Mobile speed: 80/100 (average site benchmark: 40/100).
  • eoDesktop speed: 97/100 (average site benchmark: 60/100).

Communications and Engagement Manager

"Working with Adopter has been a very enjoyable experience. It's clear that their team are very passionate about what they do and go the extra mile to engage with the work and to read the relevant material helping to give context to their final products. This was important given that we were working on a politically sensitive project. Adopter were very responsive and easy to get in touch with, especially during important points throughout the work. This ensured that all deadlines were kept, despite there being a very short timeline. Adopter go above and beyond for their clients and we look forward to working with them again in the future."
