We are delighted to announce that Adopter became a TechZero signatory earlier this year. 

TechZero - a Race To Zero partner - is a climate action group for tech companies of all sizes committed to fighting the climate crisis. 

By joining Tech Zero, we commit to: 

• Annually measure and publish scope 1-3 greenhouse gas emissions. 
• Publish details on how we plan to reach net zero within a year of joining Tech Zero (including a net zero date and short-term targets for the next 12 months, 2-3 years and by 2030).
• Appoint an executive team member as responsible and accountable for our net-zero targets. 
• Communicate these climate commitments in a meaningful manner, including to our customers. 
• Annually report our short and medium-term targets on our website and to our Board. 

By becoming a signatory, Adopter is also joining a community of leading climate experts, climate-tech scaleups guiding effective measurement and reduction of emissions, and a strong, supportive network of companies committed to accelerating progress towards net zero. Other TechZero signatories include such companies as Citymapper, Vodafone, Monzo, and Depop. 

Alongside joining Tech Zero, we recently became B Corp Pending certified, becoming the first company in County Durham listed in the B-Corp Directory.
