We’re excited to announce that Adopter’s Co-Founder, Matt Jaworski, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming virtual workshop ‘Financing for SDGs in the era of Covid and beyond.’ The workshop will be hosted by Prof. Rashmi Arora (University of Bradford) and Prof. Tapan Sarker (University of Southern Queensland).
Matt will lead session 1, A New Financial System for Sustainable Development (9:10 AM—9:30 AM GMT), which will explore innovative approaches to green financing and its role in achieving the SDGs.
Matt shared his thoughts on the upcoming workshop: “The world urgently needs bold, actionable financial systems to tackle sustainability challenges. I’m excited to contribute to this workshop and explore how innovation can assist in closing the gap in financing for the Sustainable Devleopment Goals. At Adopter, we typically work closely with individual organisations, but this workshop presents an opportunity to share our insights and experiences with a broader audience.”
The workshop is tied to the upcoming book ‘Financing for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Era of Covid and Beyond’ published by Palgrave Macmillan. The book will offer fresh insights into bridging the gap between aspirations and funding in this space.
